What that means in practice

How we describe property

We describe homes and neighbourhoods in terms of the property itself — its features, its condition, its measurable characteristics. We do not describe them in terms of the people who live there. Phrases that steer buyers toward or away from an area based on who lives in it are unlawful, and we do not use them, however casually they are often meant.
